Sand in my underwear

Post by N*A*M »

Okay, time for me to bitch about the Pics of Forum Members thread http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... hp?t=18307

*Activate Rant-mode*

Some people clearly cannot follow simple instructions. Post ONE (and only 1) pic of your rig in ONE reply!

The reason for this is so that the page loads for people and the thread does not get bloated. It's intention is to be a reference for people to match vehicle with users. Not to show off your truck. That's what the Members section is for.

Notice there is also an edit button so you can make changes to your original post. Please do the right thing and edit your ONE post to show the SINGLE image you want the world to see. If it's too hard, ask Sam K the moderator to delete your post and just make a new one.

*Deactivate Rant-mode*

Thank you for bearing with my crankiness. I have had a rust flake in my eye all day and it's not pleasant.

Stumped said a few pics

Grimbo replied with a winge about everything saying one pic only

So why the one pic nazi's???
One pic doesn't some up a persons vehicle.

If people whine about time loading the page STFU and get cable.

I thought the idea was so people could put some details and an image to a name. if they want to see more pics then look up the members thread. if you haven't got one and you want to show 10 shots of your car in the driveway, shed, back lane then start one.

Why not make it one pic of your junk and an optional link to more in the members section  Seems obvious but people will try to post a heap of pics otherwise.

I have dial up at home too and it sucks ballz :?

Not being selfish dude,

Just thought that the idea for a really good thread was somewhat spoiled by whiners a couple of posts after it was started.

I just thought 2 was a good number, a pic from both ends rather than bable about has beens or non-driven rigs.

yeah whatever they said.

yay another post under my belt

I think one pic is a good option. and making your own web page all about your ride is a good idea, and you don't have to go and find your thread in the members section because its gone 5 pages in.
I know atleast 75% of the people here could make themselse a web page and get it hosted. YOUR ALL NERDS :finger:
so am I, so I think I will start desiging one and also buy a digital camera so I can keep you all informed of my buildup, or rather remoulding of what I have. ;)

no evidence of whinging cos i asked sam to clean it up :D

i guess not everyone's gonna like it, i just thought it'd be cool to match ppl to cars and see what they run without having to trawl the members section.

if ya don't like it, don't click on the link ;)

You know what is funny, people still can't tell the difference between 1 and 2 pictures only and they also don't understand the whole no chit-chat thing either. I thought it was a pretty simple idea and it is asked at the start of the thread. Cmon guys keep it neat and tidy, it is just a thread with your details and 1 pic. that's all

Come on Graham, ease up on the thread nazi bit  we all know Moose is too busy working on his "bucket of puss" to read all the rules, and Tman is too busy polishing his chrome twinoverheadsuckmeoffs that he is fitting to his pushbike :D
