coiling around...

Post by SiKiD_01 »

my coils leave their seats at full droop, how can i stop this?
i have a vitara, and the problem is up back.

some say to tie them down, or wire them in, and others say get new coils.

these are not standard suzi coils, not sure where they're from.

so what do i do, and how do i do it, how many different methods are there, and which ones work?

thanks.

ZIP TIES

mine actually drop past the bottom of the bump stop, but they're zipped tied in at the bottom, so they've always re-seated emselves properly ;)

your best to just tie them in
with either zip ties or plates catching the bottom an top coil

a longer coil......but still to produce same height.....will create a more unstable rig.......being more prone to rolling the body over
the slightly shorter coil holds the body........like your actually pulling the coil open a little......so gives much better stability
