Post by lay80n »

just a quick question.
The two vacum lines that run from the inlet manifold, just below the carby. Where do they run, one of mine has fallen off, giving me a vacum leak and bad idle.

I'm having similar trouble. Although I thought there was only one line. That could be my problem. I don't know the answer but I'd like to know.

yeah, one goes into the solenoid that controls the fast-idle (quoting someone, so if that's not what the thing is, don't blame me :D ) and the other goes to the airbox. layto's doesn't have the connector on the airbox tho :?

various models have various plumbing configurations, so check with somebody running a stock similar year/motor etc, to yours...
but one vacuum line goes to the carbon cannister, one vacuum advance on dizzy, the rest are pollution/economy devices which my old zook dont need, so mine just got blocked off. christover
