could anyone post a set by step guide on how to undo beadlocks and redo them up again. it sounds simple but i just want to make sure it is done correctly.
also if you have any hints about doing it, that would be good also.
thanks
Peter

I'm sure that undoing them will be pretty simple.
Doing them up again though - that's where all the tricks are.
Use a powerdrill to do up the bolts / hex bolts if that's what you've got, or you could be there for a while.

I just undo them in any sequence, clean the bead and then do them up evenly. Takes a while but seems to work ok. I tried using silicone to seal them but think it not matter as last one done without silicone and it stayed up.

I guess if they have a torque requirement on them - then that is how tight to do them up... If they don't - then i guess you should do them up real (read: VERY) tight.
Note: Check out some Primedia magazines - they are always doing articles on fitting tyres to beadlocks.

Undoing them involves a suitable tool (no, not bogged
) like a wrench, spanner what ever is required. Put it onto the fastener and undo. Simple
Doing them is a bit trickier. A good idea is to use about 4 longer bolts than those supplied to start. Tighten these to the specified torques settings (you can probably find this out on the manufacturers website) in a cross pattern ie one at north, 1 at east etc. Once these are on proceed with the supplied bolts in a criss cross pattern. Once that is done remove the longer bolts and do them up.
