I want more height

Post by GQboy »

I am after a 4 or 6 inch lift for my Gq uterus , I am sick of the swampers scrubbing out on the front gaurds , that and chicks will love it.

Just wondering if anyone has brought/ has a kit resently and what they got and what they think etc

Speak to Hobzy at Procomp in Narre Warren. He is running long travel airbag suspenion all round in his GU ute that gives him anywhere between about 2 and 9"s of lift.

Not sure if the chicks will love it but any of your mates with 4x4s will think it is pretty cool!
I'm not very good looking, so I guess I better be useful . . .

Got 2 Uteris's in the shop getting Xtreme Make over now incl 1 x Denco Turbo. 4-6" lift is cool but it has its problems. A body Lift is a good way to get another few inches without sacrificing ride.

But then, yes the Chicks are worth it. We have quite a few very happy 6" guys and their chicks are happier with their extra inches.

In Sydney Nick Mannell is the Man or maybe Ball Sack. In Melb, see Cheezy or us at Pro Comp. We all have pretty much the same views and work together buying stuff off each other.

At what point does the Garage NOT become an option?

Would a GQ with 2" lift and 33's be under 2m in height?

Mine with 3" body, 3" springs and 35 X Terrains just fits into Eastland Carpark and that's 2.1m.

I mean just fits, have to make sure the sunroof is closed though!

LOL... What have we started here :D Maybe we should split this into a new thread... how tall is your GQ/Mav and what lift are you running. Interesting that there is so much variation in the heights for the different configurations.

I like the 2m height cos my wife is happy cos she can still get into all the local shopping centre carparks and I'm happy cos I can still get it in the garage.

The 4-5" lift is a V.good compromise.

"Just think how much fire fuel you could carry in the ute with a 4-5 inch lift.
A lot more than a drum with wheels on it"And that would cook a lot of Ear burning Marshmollows!
