A friend of mine owns a 89 coil Mav.
Is there anything he can do to the front suspension to get it to walk better? Besides going to a 5 link is there any suggestions?
Cheezy did you try anything with the front arms before going 5 link?

Hi Toymad, yes I tried alot of diferent things on the front B4 going to 5 link, soft long coils, different bushes, drilled out bushes, flogged out bushes ect ect, but the main probs I had was the geometry of everything changed to much on travel, being the upper and lower diff points are connected together and roll the diff forward on down travel.
The 5 link fixes that prob but in the configuration mine is in ATM you only get around 30 % more flex than standard not the advatised 600 %. :(
Thanks dude, probably just as ezy to get him to talk to you at landcruiser when you come up! gota love these emoticons
