Been looking for a set for quite a while  Just cant seem to get them in any of the wrecking nissans around here. Only ever seen them in later model MQ tubo diesels that are selling for over $7000.

Good luck and if u find two pair let me know :D

You should check out a truck wreckers, probably the best suspension seats around are Eldorados, they're mostly fitted to Kenworths.

I got some in my gq, seem to work pretty good, I have them wound up to max weight even though I am only 70kg

The added ride height is the best thing even though I am six foot I came from a rangie to a nissan and found that I wanted more vision.

Sorry they were in the car when I bought so i can't tell you where they came from but the brand and type is Bostrom Viking 411

The website http://www.seatsrus.com.au/IdentifyPage.htm has a picture of them and heaps of other seats

Suspension seats are used in trucks mostly to reduce the jarring in your spine from the rough ride in older trucks (before airbag suspension!). The better brands such as eldorado actually use an airbag in a scissor lift style suspnsion set up (thus you would need a compressed air source!). Along with up and down suspension the Eldorado seats also have a feature commonly know as a "chugger", this feature allows the seat the freedom to slide forward and back to reduce the bucking effect of a trucks suspension. They would be great for taller blokes, they have a removeable spacer in the bootom of them so they can be tailored to suit the application. Any wrecker of large trucks could supply one, check out the yellow pages for truck wreckers near you. :D
