Rusted Mudflaps

Post by swbpatrol »

Just about to pick my SWB Mav up from a respray today. I'll be putting it back together in the next few days. What fix have people done for rusted out mud flaps i was thinking of removing the steel section and then pop rivet the mud flap to the flares. Other option is remove them all together and just run flares all the way down. Will this be a problem and always need to wash my car or chip the hell out of the car?
