Moved to Brissie

Post by bomboy_80 »

G'day all,

I've just moved to Brissie from Sydney and am thinking of changing my rego over to QLD plates.

Can anyone recommend a good roadworthy inspection place on the northside who understand 4wdrives?

cheers

Hey man, congrats on making the move. Are you north or south of the river?

no serious mods. Only 2" lift and 33" tyres. I'm hoping the process will make insurance cheaper - male under 25 living in sydney is the most expensive insurance in Australia, so hopefully the move will drop this price.

How long before you hit 25 ? Might be worthwhile just paying it if you have a year left or so. As for the mods you won't have any probs but as its been said, NSW are a lot easier on cars than QLD is. Still its your choice NSW rego expensive but allowed more mods, QLD slightly less expensive and allowed less mods. Your choice :!: :D

Yes but has anyone considered he has to drive back over the border each year and get a roadworthy and go through all the associated hassles.
