Import Pajero 2.5TD

Post by mkerr »

hey guys, great forum.
looking for a small-medium sized 4wd for my brother, nothing too extreme, mostly a city car and going off on beaches such as moreton island etc.

sofar got in mind either a hilux, feroza, vitara, or a short wheel base pajero.
the swb pajero will be too expensive as they're around the $15k mark for a decent one.

was looking in car yard the other day and came across an importer of 4wds, and saw a swb pajero 2.5 turbo diesel, 90000kms, engine bay looked new (really did, hoses etc looked new, though the dealer said he'd just steamed them etc). Looking for any info regarding owning one or buying one. How they go off road, parts availability etc. Absolutely ANY info is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can get a decent swb pajero for about 12K... I am personally not a fan of the imports but each to their own... you will get far more for your money in the paj...

A swb V6 Paj is an excellent sand vehicle equal to the Feroza if not better due to the extra poke.
If you can stretch it a Gen 2 swb 3.0 V6 would be sand demon...............
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
