Ado,

I have swithced a ground wire to the solenoid wire as you suggested.

It works fine (tested) except that my front light indicators on the dash dont go out , the best they do is flash.

You mentioned that yours go out when you ground the wire, well mine dont unless I have grounded the wrong one. grounded the yellow/blue wire that goes to the yellow marked solenoid. Thats the one isnt it.

anyway I guess I could always put a relay in the circuit to the dash lights.

BTW I used my hazard light switch for the switching that way no foreign switches.

Ian,

I'm glad that you were able to get the mod done, regards the lights - mine flashed as well but as soon as i moved/ drove the vehicle they went out.

Curious how yours doesn't??

My phone had some trouble over the weekend as the rough weather took out some mobile phone cells.
