I'm looking only for a new camshaft for my Feroza. Does anybody know where to get this cheep?
Is the camshft the only difference between 105HP in the Applause and the 95HP in the Feroza ?

best,

There are a number of cams available to suit the HD-E engine- this place here makes a selection:

The Applause also runs a different distributor (advance curve changed). The Detomaso runs a computer controlled advance curve (ie more up to date EFI system), plus different inlet manifold and exhaust manifold- supposedly all the internals apart from the cams are the same for all.

i had a applause eng put into my old feroza and it did drive a little different. it had more go in the upper revs ( where i drove it all the time ). Rather than go for the next gear like most i could stay in a lower gear and make more noise and have better control. Down side is engine wears out quicker. oh well
i can hold onto head for you if you want me to AJ ph me 0408287539
