Springs

Post by Birlo »

Gotta a question I've asked before
I'm goin' to the 4wd drive show in Maitland and I want to know what springs to get?
Lookin' middle of the range...
Also looking at the options of a spring over...
Anyone in the Newcastle region know who does it? Thats the spring over
How much it would cost?
Is it worth it?
Also drop shackles, greasables or extended?
Anti inversion is a given - I invereted one this weekend
Anyways if anyone can tell me anything let me know
By the way I have a 84 model HJ60
You can't kill a 60... Believe me... I've tried...
In the end, you can... drive a gu now... still want a 60

Yeah the problem with that is I inverted a shackle on the front right and bent the spring to the buggery
So one of my mechanic mates thinks I need a new leaf pack
It bent to the full extension of a standard shock so I dunno

you know you wanna go spoa!!!!!!!!

why not wait until someone is selling SPOA 60 diffs?

buy the whole lot and put them under in 1 go.

even just get their housings mate, that way they should be rotated already.

You don`t need to change the diff you just got to modify it to suit the big lift

and a 84 extra cab
