Hey Guys,
I am going to install some 2nd hand diff ratio ring and pinion gears into my TJ's diffs very soon. The gearset i have have travelled 15000km's in another jeep so have probably worn slightly already. I have been told by one shop that i should get them 'lapped' to even the wear pattern so it wont stuff the ratios in my diffs.
Anyone comment on this and where good places might be to get it done???

at only 15,000km diff gears should be barely run in. there should be no need to have them lapped, just set them up correctly and they should be good for years (or until you break them on the track!)
