Back yet again, yes you must have a winch just in case you have to self recover.

Yes that would be handy. Especially for those that have never competed before or are not sure what class their vehicle fits into.

I'm trying to borrow a winch. Copy of the rules would be handy. I thought that my vehicle complied till I read this thread yesterday and found out I couldnt compete without a winch.

XRCC Round 2

Post by XTREME MMM »

:) :) :) :)

Back yet again, If you go by last years XRCC rules you will not have any troubles entering the last 2 Rounds. There will be a new set of easy to follow rules for next year.

Base rules are "OUTLAW" Anything goes, but the vehicle must be built to engineer type standards (workmanship) & not a heap of rusty pipe / vehicle tossed together to make a "Outlaw" entry. As per last year all vehicles will be approved by MMM before being allowed to start. A full rollcage (internal or external using material as stated in the XWC rules) & full harness plus window nets or wrist restrain. If any part of roof opening will allow a standard size soccer ball to pass through it, you then must cover it with 3mm alloy or 1.6mm steel sheet. Radiators & engine must be covered. Fuel & oil must be contained. Winches must be fitted & working for self recovery.

"MODTRUCK" Must be registered & backed up by current rego papers and apart from tyres must be legal !!!!. Roll cage, harness etc as above. Tyre size 38'' measured at 24psi. Winches as per above.

Scoring will be the person with the least points win. Each gate is worth 50 points etc. if you have 10 gates you start with 500 points & for every gate you pass you loss 50 points. So if you get through the 10 gates you will receive 0 (zero) points plus any other penalties for that course.

Reverse:- 1 point.

Spotter strap:- 2 points per gate.

Kone:- 10 points. NOTE all kones are live unless touched they are then taken out of play.

Off Course:-DNF. Your score will be up to where you went off course.

Rock stacking:- 10 points per gate & you must return rocks.

Outside assistance:- DNF Your score up to that point .

Any other questions drop us a line.
