P76 questions

Post by Hobie18 »

Evening All

Does anyone know if there is a snorkel available which would fit onto a 350 holley carb?

Also what is the conversion rate for Torque from Ft Lb to Nm and HP to Kw, just trying to work out what sort of power I should have with the car, whether its good or bad.

And one last technical question for now, a P76 with a 60 thou over bore would give what capacity?

Thanks all for your assistance.

I used normal rangie snorkle on mine with an edlebrock/weber carb now rochester Qjet. Modified inlet to holden v8 filter housing to suit hose from snorkle.

1 lbf-ft ~ 1.35582 Nm
1 hp ~ 0.7456999 kW

Stock p76 bore and stroke is 88.9mm and 88.9mm
60 thou over bore is 90.424mm
Then new capacity is pi x 9.0424^2 x 0.25 x 8.89 x 8 ~ 4567 cm^3
