4WD Insurance?

Post by beretta »

Can anyone give me some pointers on the best 4WD insurance and what to look out for? Never bothered with previous buckets of crap, but just got a good car now and want to get it covered for offroad as well.

Cheers!

Give DGA (Australian 4wd Insurance) a call: 1800 800 471

They're in Melbourne.....cheaper than TCIS in Adelaide: 08 8278 7000

Both will cover you on and off road.

Cheers,

I just got quotes from both DGA and TCIS. $605 and $608 respectively.

TCIS is for affiliated club members only.

Why don't you try Bushtrack Insurance (1800 888 477)

Yes, they are a bit more expensivie than your 'normal' insurance provider, but they offer great value. EG - if you were to get stuck in the Simpson - or the Daintree - they would pay for reasonable ocst of repairs and/or extraction (which for some of our rigs, is a helicopter.........)

They also cover your gear - including camping gear.

Ring them, speak to Matthew Cosham - and tell them 4x4TV referred you - they'll look after you.

Cheers
