Watagans vid update ...

Post by partz »

Hey lads,
Long time no see!

Just letting all involved know that I haven't forgotten about you and the video is getting done (slowly) ... :D

Uni was hectic for a while which left me without much spare time, but over the last week I've gotten back on top if it and the vid is starting to take shape. It should be done within the next two weeks.

I'll most likely be doing two different vid's...
The one i'm working on at the moment is just an account of the whole day.
and I'll also do a shorter 'highlights' reel.

Catch yaz soon.

Hey All.

We were talking about how to get it out to all and had some ideas...

How about a PM for Chris's address, then post him about $$5-10 with your address and we sort them onto a cd or VHS depending on what it fits onto and works well off, then we post them to you??

Is this kinda thing ok with you ppl??

If it's on VHS it might be a bit more expensive but hopefull it will fit on a VCD and look the goods!

What about converting it to DivX and then putting it on CD (better picture quality in a smaller file size).

Mate - you get lots of screen time. :D

about the format- I'll see if the movie fits onto a cd (it's about 35mins long) and hopefully it won't lose any quality in doing so.
If that doesn't work, i'll try the DivX trick but i'm quietly confident that it'll be fine on CD.

Plus I dont think DVD players play DivX, and I want mine playable as a VCD so I can watch it on the big screen.

Ahhh.

Just watching the first cut to CD now on my computer...

So far we have it playing through windows media player, but DVD players arent recognising the Audio format so its being developed. There is now the possibility that it could be put on DVD as we just found out we have a DVD burner!!

At the moment we are working towards getting the format right to run high quality VCD through Media Player as well as a DVD player as a Super VCD.

If anyone has had lots of experience with Adobe Premiere please contact Partz.

About the cost, still not sure, depends on what format we use, at last ditch we can whack it on VHS... but this will likely be the most expensive, as well as the biggest pain in the arse.

It's coming....

well this is kinda shitting me now. :bad-words:

The vid is totally completed - I just can't figure out how to get a good quality version onto a cd. (as Croz reported)
The exported files i have play at small resolution on the screen and go quite grainy at full-screen mode.

someone, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllp !!!!
