New GPS??

Post by XXXL80 »

A friend of my dads has offered me a brand new Garmin GPS 3 in the box with all the bits and pieces (car brackets etc..) for $200 bucks

Can anyone advise what there thoughts are on this model? is it a good brand? is it a good model? is it easy to use? (ive never used one)

thanks in advance...

Its a good unit, I like the layout of them, either layin down or upright. Nice clear screen and all.

GPS2's are going for $250+ on Ebay, so $200 sounds cheap, grab it! Theres GPS 3's for $350 startin price on Ebay.

Or

For ~$550au (Well was a few weeks ago when $ was beter) you can get a new magellan color from USA.

$295us for the Color Meridian GPS plus FREE Canvas case
$73us Extenna Ant
$20us Swivel
$20us Pow Cable
