Sierra (swb) is shorter than a vitara (swb) by the better part of a foot. I reckon therefore that the improved ramp over would mean that it would not have bottomed out in that situation. hense the comment "a sierra would have gotten over that" :cool:

Not mine, found it on a Canadian forum. It's a 91 Vit, 22RE engine & drivetrain, Toyota E locker rear, open front, no body lift, 33"s

ummm... 50% more capacity = 50% more torque.

2.28 low range = another 50% more torque.

The combo is probably cheaper than a GRP rockhopper :P

I am still assessing this one... don't knock being a toyota \/\/anker until you'ver tried it

Yeah... in 1500+ kilo of Hilux it's gonna be a lot more gutless than in 1000 kil of SWB vit though.

Yeah.. and 3.7 diffs... I reckon with th 5.12 diffs in the vitara it'd go allright :D

At least yours is EFI mine has a carb (and would still blow the doors of your Rangie :D )
