38.5 Claws fit a GQ

Post by bru21 »

I just ordered a set of claws 38/16x15 on 15x10 core beadlocks. i have a 7 inch wizard kit and 5 link. does anyone know if they will scrub on the chassis, or will i need gu diffs / hub spacers. coil cab ute. not fussed about the body - nothing a jigsaw won't fix. also chasing a spare in the same size

cheers bru :D

Bru,

I have a set of 37" claws on my rig which is also running a wizard 7" kit and had to trim the ends off the rear tubular crossmember above the rear tyres and also trim the rear bump stop mounts flush with the chassis.

Cheers

depending on rim offset
the inner sidewall often rubbed on the original top coil mount plateon up travel
that was with my 35's aswell as 39.5x15 swampers with 5link front

either go GU diffs for width an stronger cv's , or use what u got till it breaks / becomes a hassle........and just use small wheel spacers
