traded pajero

Post by Ian Sharpe »

Ok finally done it.

traded the Nk on a 2000 NL low k's GLS. Very nice vehicle.

Diff lock goes in this weekend.

One thing has got me stumped.

I have had 3 Pajeros now , NH,NK & NL.

they have all had a squeak in the rear door. I have adjusted every striker I can see, used spray lubricant etc. I'm sure it comes from the rubber blokc but I havent been able to eliminate this squeak on any of the Pajerso that I have owned.

Am I the only one thats had this problem (seems unlikely since every Pajeros has done it).

have any other had success in eliminatiung this noise

Drop a 35"claw on a steel rim on the back door and the squeek will go away...... Guaranteed... I had a similar problem but once the 65kg went on the back door it stopped!

Oh yeah..... pics of the new rig and build up

Yeah mine does it from time to time I find Silicon spray on the rubber seals helps a bit.
But with the noise of the Simex's I hardly notice it anyway :D
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
