NEWCASTLE

Post by xtreem »

OK I have been astounded by the amount of Zook owners on here that come from around the Newcastle area. As well as every single zook and zook part in the for sale section coming from there. I even picked my car up in newcastle.

So I need some answers. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON UP THERE????????? Why so many? whats the reason for this?

MUST BE SOME TYPE OF TAX INSENTIVE OR REBATE GOING ON.

i believe it's something to do with the fallout from the old steel industries that have closed down in the last few years. the conditions are ideal for the evolution from airborne particles to the unique machine that is the modified suzuki.

a combination of the high metal levels in the area, exposure to driving beaches, proximity to mt sugarloaf and the watagans, and the inate ability of novocastrians to out-drive people from lesser towns and cities has lead to the proliferation of what is commonly reffered to as a "zook"

Or maybe we are all poor arse or tight arse. but the amount of different terrain is awesome and most of the guys are young and can't afford an expensive rig to pour money into.
the zook is a cheap starter and modified cheaply. vote 1 newy zooks.

ps did you read about the zook in the latest 4x4 monthly. what a weapon :finger:

can't play car's this weekend, busy sorry, next weekend should be a goer.

and yes lapping is fun. we'll just have to send a "stocker" in first to check and see if the defect bus is in town, ha ha and if its clear we chuck a few laps then get out while we can. cops always find something wrong!

at the moment a zook would be good for anyone that doesn't have millions of $$$ to spend on fuel, cos zooks are good on fuel

no there not. they chew pety pretty good.

my EA ford only chews a little bit more than my zuk, so I haven't been crying about petrol prices, it just means I go once a week and put $70 in it rather than go twice and put 30 - 35 in it each time.

i bought my MG410 from up that way. Central 4x4 wreckers at the time had the most wrecked suzukis i'd seen before in 1 place. I think it's just the coastal thing that there's so many up there. Ideal climate and all that...
My tires were rubbing in the front, so I trimmed the hood, and now they're fine...
