extended brake lines

fellas i got a lux with a 2" lift and 33's, and my brake lines are tight b4 full wheel drop....

anyone know a good place to get extennded lines from....( cheapish)..

yeah thats abs brakes, got a quote for round 170 installed..., was hopin to find somethin a little cheaper...

cant u just putt the clicps out that hold them in place pull some extra steekl line theo and zip tie them in place we did this on my old mans hilux and got heap off line out off it he has a full coil set up and 37s not sure on lift but i would say at least 4 inc no probs with lines

what was the price unfitted?

its a fairly simple job. all you need is a 10mm spanner and a 17mm spanner. and a screw driver to get the clip off.

then bleed the air out of the lines.

and away you go. with a bit of cash spared.

$50 each custom made - any length - at B&R brakes in Blacktown, including armour coil if you want it. usually same day - if I order before about 10am they are done and ready to pick up by lunchtime.

thanks for the help guyts i will ring tomorrow and find out how much to just have them made... i know its an easy job, just couldn be knackerd bleedin the whole brake system :oops:

I know this doesnt help you much but its a chance for me to boast a little...I am in Brisbane and got mine made up 200mm longer than stock for $77.00. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

how is that boasting if brake shops will make them to order for $50 each, any length?

certainly...The place is called "slacks creek brake and clutch" and they are on Aranda street, Springwood...off the service road around the same area as Motorama and springwood marine. Went in there early in the morning and they were ready to pick up at 1pm that afternoon.

Theres 3 lines in our hilux kit. $112 for all three . How is $50 each or $77 for two cheaper ? $5 to 7 would cover postage pretty well anywhere.
