Howdy all,
Just wondering, does anyone have experience with extending the rear of a 40 series Landcruiser chassis to increase wheelbase? Is this a realistic option when doing SPOA, 60 series diff/spring conversion?
What are the engineering cert and registration issues/problems associated with this in Victoria?
Thanks!

Extending chassis

Hey Nick, have you got any pics of the work you did? That is exactly what I am talking about. What sort of materials did you use to extend the chassis and how did you fasten it? eg, weld and tapped?
Mudtoy, that is a good point, but one I think we could work around It would be a good opportunity to move the tank in behind the seats, do the susp/chas work and look at what type of extra LPG tank I can get into that area without fouling suspension.
Thanks dreama...I should be pretty kewl with emissions as I am running straight LPG.
