OK just bought a 93 model manual one i know the fuel consumption is bad but thought it best to prepare my self as to just how bad it is . So would appreciate you posting the sort of KLM to the litre i can expect , im hopeing being a manual it wont be as bad as the auto .
Thanks in advance Darren

If you can not get there in a 4wd its not worth looking at
Daz.
I've heard around 17-18L/100. Without accessories that create wind resistance. And driving like an old man...
So essentially, when you fill up - open your wallet and as the fuel goes in - remove the $50 notes in quick succesion....
Thats why teh diesle so rocks - non turbo - 11-12L/100 Turbo even better!

XR6 Turbo - the work car...
XW wagon - the dogs car...

OK Daz I found an old diary of mine from last year, these are the figures for going to Nissan Trials 2003 towing the lux and sitting on basicly the speed limit + or - 20kms/hr with the A/C on, 4 adults and gear. I know that the fuel usage doesn`t change wheather your doing 80 or 120 with or without A/C or 1 or 4 people.
As you know ours is auto and has 33`s and you`ve seen what speed I sit on while towing, I DON`T slow down
This was all freeway driving.
Goulburn 352kms took 100.72Lts, that works out to 28.6/100.
This was some freeway and some city driving.
Penrith 177kms took 47.99Lts, that works out to 27.1/100.
This was city, the big hills along putty road, city again and some freeway driving.
Goulburn 379kms took 112Lts, that works out to 29.5/100.
Gundigia (spelling?) 170kms took 48.20Lts, that works out to 28.3/100. This was all freeway driving again and I only stopped here as it was about 3am and I needed a break badly
With the fuel prices back then (cheaper than now) it cost me $350.00 return to get to Nissan Trials and it is 1260kms return. So the $600 I told you that it costs me to tow the lux to Nissan Trials and/or Woodpecker includes the trailer higher ($50 per day) and a feed on the way up and back.

Daz factor in that your spedo has read low in the kms travelled area due to the 3 or 4% the 35's have over std 32's, and the economy has actually increased.(kms travelled plus 4% devided by litres0
