1st bit of advice is steer clear of the NRMA if you have even the smallest mod

rang up an insurance company today

AFFINITY RISK PARTNERS 1300 655 850

They gave me a quote on full comp insurance for a 90 sierra with mods for $404.18 This covers me for offroad use as long as tracks are marked on a published map. Will look into this further and let youz all know how i get along.

I'm with CGU, minimal mods, and as long as I am legally allowed to be there I'm covered. So they say!

Last claim went through ok after a small "incident" in Beachport Conservation Park.
