big tyres with bumper
big tyres with bumper
fitted my 31x10.5 r15 tyres today and have modified the front bumper fixing to let it remain on the car. i did this by first remove it and weld 50x100 boxsteel to chasis tube. Also welded a 50x50 angle to box to add extra strength then bolted bumper to box and angle. This allows you to cut out the old mounts that larger tyres hit when steering. Makes 4x4 look like it came out with larger tyres.

and decreases the approach angle!! should pull it back in and just cut the back out of it where the tyres would hit and all is good.
