Good to see someone from the region on this board!

Playing around on dunes means HORSEPOWER, FLOATATION, and LIGHTNESS (is there anything I missed out?)

Exhaust wise you can go with Borla whom I know do something for the 100. K&N air filters are great on the re-usable and cost efficiency side. Some better spark plugs and electronic wiring (MSD) can help for sure

Tire-wise, I'd go with an agressive AT, minimum is 35x12.5 to allow for clearance once deflated to single pressure digits (Mickey Thompson, BFG, and even Nitto come to mind).

Lightness...well, CUT CUT CUT...

I'd suggest getting traction aid devices. Seeing that lifting a wheel and crawling are not happening in the dunes, and LSD is best maybe and I know you can get some "Factory" ones (even lockers) - ARBs are the best as always.

Gimme a call whenever your in Jeddah (+966504386649) or Beirut (+9613651995) as I have trucks in both countries for offroading (Lebanese truck is "tricked out").

Hey man

I think I have seen your land rover on the lebanese site :P

Well the borla is good and the K&N is on its way

Tyres: I think I wil stick to the Michelins LTX that are on the LC for now thill they wear off. At the momment I have the AT on a patrol and they are great but a bit too heavy and I need to deflate to 8 PSI to enjoy doing all the crazy stuff
The 100 I have already has a rear diff lock but what I want to figure out is what in hell does this button do?

Thanks dude

Any one knows what this button does?
When I press it all it does is light up in my dash
The LC I have is full time 4WD and I have a different button to engage the lockers so I am sure it is not the lockers

5 point racing harness to keep you in your seat when u go flying, 35 bias ply baja claws and secondair internal beadlocks if u get them, perhaps some progressive bumpstops to soften the blow?

A big custom radiator and some big thermo fans to keep things cool in the desert sun, EPIRB, u have the sat nav sorted by looking at the dash pic.

Long Ranger fuel tank with the combined water tank aswell.

And a big fridge for the beer

Gees i wish money was not an object!
Cheers,
Dan.

Phil,

Snorkels help in leting in CLEANER air as well since the intake is up top. Also...Who says you have no wading...Go to Al Ain, I recall crossing a GOOD distance with my Dad in his SIII Landie in 1983 to get to a sweet fishing spot.

Change engine management chip to a Motec Clubman or something.

Get a snorkel, but with a big pre cleaner to help clear out some of the sand!
Cheers,
Dan.

Gday
Do u have any unichip outlets over there? These are a piggy back system that will tune your new supercharger equipt motor.
The lock on the dash is for the ctr diff, when it is oin constant, you can spin one front wheel only and loose traction. you should also loose ABS when you lock it in high range.
Consider a front ARB difflock to go with the factory rear one... aswell as the benefit of a compresser, you can minimise the drawbacks of the IFS.
