mods and insurance?

Post by redrocket »

Was wondering how you guys go about informing your insurance company about the custom mods on your truck. Like on my pajero i did a balljoint flip on the front suspension which i got approved from qld transpdrt but i have no idea how i am gonna try and explain it to the insurers. I am with TCIS who are really good and all but i don't know if they would understand what i was saying. What does everyone else do? Do you tell them every little thing you have done?

Seeing as I am looking at insuring the GQ... I am also VERY interested in this matter...

I am looking at a 4" lift (bolt-on only) plus rear bar and sill guards (bolt on) and 33s onroad.

TCIS = As long as your car is Roadworthy and / or engineered - they'll pay for it. Just tell them how much your bootie Fab bits are Worth on the proposal and off you go. :D
