i supose you would be looking for oil leacks around the rear axle <shows axle seal need replacing>
any oil leaks from treansfer case/geabox you also want to test drive in to make sure it gose into to 4w High and also 4w Low wanna make sure the cvs are good and that boots are not craked

it done quiet a few ks has probly been well used check the motor
make sure no leaks are there

just got to be careful

when and if you do go ahead and buy it replace all spark plugs, spark leads, oil filter, petral filter, air filter, give it good clean out

thats all i can think of just as yet other will think of things i havnt
i used to have an old jackaroo so know a lil

I owned one for 5 years, rebuilt the motor after blowing it on the tracks, engine didn't take well to my modified cam, chip, head and exhaust. Personally, i wouldn't buy the petrol, i would go for the diesel. as it was always needing high revs to go up hills and it stresses the motor out too much.
