ATTENTION: LOGAN CLUB JUNE NIGHT RUN
Moderator: evanstaniland
Well it was a good night. Cold but good. Not alot of damage or carnage so that should make people really . Rod Owens tried out his new buggy on the step-ups and broke his buggy. The rear pinion (snapped)
Have to wait for scores as not everyone handed back score sheets.
But they will be up as soon as i get them.
Everyone had a good time and it was fun to watch them in action
It finished around 1-2 in the morning so it was a really long night.
Planning on doing another run by the end of the year so you are all warned

well done wes it was a good run and good tracks .
stage 1 was interesting coming out on two wheels and filling my undies in the process .
rods checkpoint was good to drive especially in a patrol.
we ended up leaving after that because of the time factor . i think its called old age .
thanks again for the fun and thanks to the officials it must have ended up being a very late night .

I was wondering where you guys got to. Maybe if you didn't take a wrong turn straight away you may not of had such a long night.
Another good run Wes.
Finally we have the results from the run:
1st was Rod and Julie Readon
2nd was Shane Sheraton and Simon Marsh
3rd was Chris Ierssei and Ben
It was a close run between Shane and Rod. With Rod and Julie betting Shane and Simon by 5 points. Sorry guys.
Thanks to all who turned up and thanks to the people who helped on check points. You know who you are.
Big thanks to John Bird for his BBQ at the end of the night.

Well CP5 didn't see too much action. After a couple of hours the first car, Shane, came through and drove the CP without a drama then it was another 90 minutes before the next batch hit. Rod drove it OK but a V8 Hilux with some front guard and rear axle damage from an earlier CP turned up, the axle let go and it took a while for Rod and others to recover the Hilux. The queue that formed on the hard track forced a couple of cars to negotiate teh easy track without incident. We only saw 7 cars through the CP all night due to retirements on earlier stages or drop outs due to time. Wrapped up the CP just after midnight.

Dammit!! No one remembers second place!!!
No, seriously, congrats to Rod and Julie. No one to blame but myself, we worked out what the letter boards spelt ("jungle trekker II"), but being the navi-extraordinairre I am, I failed to write the answer on the sheet. Too busy talking to Birdy at the finish line.
Thanks for the run Wes, we had a ball. And, with no damage!!
