ARB quoted me $550 fitted (about a month a go)...
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).

Also wondering whether there is any difference between the snorkels for the left and right hand drive models? I am looking to buy one for a friend in the USA and just trying to work out whether it is cheaper to buy it here or over there. Apparently the Safari Snorkels are quite expensive over there. Has anyone had any experiences with freight to the USA?

Google for TJ and Safari and you find heaps of pics showing they are all fitted to the RHS side regardless of whether the Jeep is LHD or RHD.

If you look at the way the piping is routed on any local TJ you will see that it goes under the unused battery tray beneath our brake booster rather than above it....cos thats where the US guys have their batteries... one size fits all :)

The YJ snorkel however is for the LHS but the windscreen has a different rake and I think the cowl is slightly different too.

I think I paid around Aus$375 (or was that 275 I forget) for mine unfitted sometime ago. A quick google shows you can pick them up as low as US$199 from Rusty's http://www.rustysoffroad.com/performance.html I don't think you will be able to buy local and ship to the US for less than that.
