Ive got gq flared gaurds on my mq, need to use a gq grill also, the gaurds bolt up, i just made new headlight support panels and some brackets for the gq grille, the non flared mq style gaurds are designed to have indicators under headlights, whereas gq flared gaurds require the indicators next to the headlights, necessitating a gq grill.
I was told i could only use gq leaf cab gaurds and that they were flared, i brought a set (and they needed standard gq grille), and since then every gq leaf ive seen has mq style panels - no flares, to me my flared gaurds look like any other gq flared gaurds??? Doesn't matter tho all works fine, cost about 600 for panels grille and indicators
also gq coil headlights are lower and closer together than mq ones.
Hope i haven't confused anyone....

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots
they bolt up but wheels are way further forward u will have 2 cut the sh*t out of the front of the guard. that would b a waste of money. but later model leafy gq utes have flared guards and they r a strait bolt up. your next problem is the grill ,i belive it will go on 2.
is ur truck still goin?
yeah goin 2 HELL!!
yeah goin 2 HELL!!
Well the wrecker i got my leaf cab flared gaurds from said they were as rare as hens teeth, I also heard about the axle being further forward.
Is the gq leaf grille (non flared) like an mq grille i.e. has a painted panel underneath with indicators on it.
If so u will need the later gq grille and it won't directly fit, not hard to adapt though, as i said in previous post.
Is the front axle position the same on mq and gq leaf?
As far as panel differences go i'll get some pics of my car in the members section in a week or so (81 mq tray with gq front panels) might be able to compare to other cars? I'm about to trim the back of the wheel arches so will take photos before hand.
