MQ - GQ FREEWHEELIN HUBS???
MQ - GQ FREEWHEELIN HUBS???
May be unlucky here.
Got myself some free wheeling hubs from ebay..
Was advertised 'nissan'
and without thinking.. bidded and won it.
Now.. it arrived.. the WARN AVM free wheeling hubs... removed my auto hubs..
They slided out.
Attempted to install the new ones.. to my dismay the thread is a little different.
Thinking what went wrong..
Emailed the seller and found out they are to suit a MQ patrol.
So tell me if im right or wrong.. MK/Q patrols and the late model GQ's have different freewheeling hubs/thread??
If im right.. means they're on the market and gotta look AGAIN for some freewheelin hubs for my GQ.
Hope someone answers my question
Cheers in advance

And while you're looking stay away from AVM hubs if you run big tyres unless you want to use them to be CV eliminators. We used them years ago with a GQ T/D Tray as they could be replaced in 7mins and never broke a CV. That stopped after we realised they were breaking waaaaaay tooooooooo easy!!!! A good second hand genuine hub from a GQ thats never been wheeled and ran 31 inch tyres all its life is what you want. You'll get from a wrecker.h
80 series, Locked both ends, Q78ed & a massive 57 k/w to boot!!!!

doesnt really matter.
ive got a set of spare AVM MQ ones here and i would never use them over the standard nissan ones...

Got auto hubs.. - just would like freewheeling for when i need to use low range 2wd eg reversing up steep hills with car carriers.
