I will be there. Unless a miracle happens though my buggy won't be ready in time. I will certainly be there for round two though.

Hey, anyone know the go on Outlaw Class at the recent Willowglen, like rules, mod's allowed etc?

Last year Outlaw still required rego. Max tyres 44". Any mods OK as long as they are rego'd and engineered.

It is a club event, ie: you compete under your club name in a team of 5 trucks..

The rules are the same as nissan trials, keep moving, once you stop for 3 seconds, points count from wherever you made it to..

ANY NEWS?

there is some ambiguity

the 4wd MONTHLY states the event is on the 29th and 30th March (according to dans message ot me last night) and the website states the 22nd and 23rd

PETE? what have you done now mate? How is anybody supposed to go if the dates are all wrong? half the people run one weekend and the other half the next weekend?

I think it would still be 22nd and 23rd, i think 4wd monthly has just stuffed up!!!!

By now a lot of people would have already organised days off around the 22nd and 23rd.

I hope they rectify the problem quickly as that would piss me off going all the way up there to spectate on the 29th and 30th and no one was there!!

Hmmmmm looks to be some heavy action going on here now

So whats the story with the 4x4monthly reports that its on the 29th and 30th now. Looks like some more missmanagement to me. Is this just like the practice day that was only supposed to be on the sunday but turned out to be on the saturday as well?

So i guess tjpete or mmm wont answer any questions till a week before again when they get back on here to use this site for some more publicity.

Looks to me as this site may just be a cheap way for them to advertise but i could be wrong :?

I know 6 mates from down sydney that put in for their holidays from the 21st till the 28th of March and 2 of them have to be back on the 28th as they work saturdays. Out of these 6 only 1 can change his holiday dates if the XRCC website has the wrong dates listed.

Doesnt look good to me im guessing they will change the dates to suit the advert in 4x4Monthly because of the amount of people who have allready seen the add. But this doesnt help the guys that had been hot on this from the start.

But i guess it will come down to how much money that Dave and Pete are making out of this event.

I agree 100% with everything you just said!!!

I know its only a couple of hours drive for me but i have been planning for the last 4 months to have time off and to get ready for that date (22 and 23) And i'm sure a lot of guys were planning the same!!!!!!!!!!!

If they change the dates after having advertised them as 22-23/3 for so long it will suck. Alot of people will have organised holidays, plane flights, whatever else according to the first dates that were set......
