Makin' some shackles for my HJ60
Whats the best steel to use?
Tempered, stainless, mild or high tensile?
and does anyone have any idea of how much it costs?
You can't kill a 60... Believe me... I've tried...
In the end, you can... drive a gu now... still want a 60

i used 50mmx8mm flat bar just walked into the shop and bought a few meters of it cost me $15 or something

Go to Metaland and get some 50mm flat bar 6-8mm thick.
its only mild steel, you don't wanna use stainless or anything like that.

Thanks - I got a galvanised flatbar for brickwork at home
Its 75x8 so I'll just use that
We weren't sure what to use - it was $7 for the stuff your talking about there. But.... yeah
