TB42 after market dizzy cap?

Post by marin »

repco tells me that i can only get original dizzy cap for my mav, 4.2 carby with the spacer under the dizzy cap. Anybody know if there are any other options?
i'm gona go original 2morrow cauz i'm desperate for it, got an extended rotr button yesterday and snapped 1 of the mounts off the dizzy cap when screwing it back on (OOPS! expensive lesson me is thinking). Currently its cable tied on so i'm good for the moment, dont wanna risk going to long like that though, be trouble if the dizzy cap moves!

Yes, you can get an aftermarket dizzy cap.

I dont know the part number sorry, but I did buy mine from Pep's auto.

Lots cheaper to than original ni$$an.

When I was looking for a replacement distributor cap for my 92 efi GQ I was told an aftermarket one was available for the petrol carby model but not for the efi versions unfortunately.
