TUFF LUX

Post by 2HI4U »

As you may or may not know, I've been wanting a lux for some months. I was once keen on the super high bling bling factor but realize that is just homosexual. I want a lux (single ideal), that has lift and is fat but which does awesome offroad. I realize that going toooo big its just stuppid to drive and feels bad offroad. suggestions for lift and tyres on a 1985 lux is needed.

I want something that you can bash around and is a tuff beast.
If people have pictures of any tuff luxes please post them, looking to spend around 10 grand on truck and mods. All suggestions appreciated.

Cheers Eddie

In terms of suspension what should i do to get some height for clearence.
Extended shackles, body and leaf mods would 2 of each be any good???, Oh yes want to run 35's. After a flat tray so it can tack some bashing as well.

Cheers Any ideas on suspension??/

i'm no lux expert but i believe in order to fit 35's a 2" sus lift and some guard cutting is all that is required

lux rear leaves in front, longer shackles all round, goofey leaf rear with shackled track bar. 3 inch tray and body lift, cressida (or crown) power steering. Bigger motor without a doubt but if it is still a luxer...turbo for sure. Twin transfers.
Here's one I prepared earlier...
