Question: With a welded diff at the front can you still have the hubs locked and drive on the road in 2wd without a problem
And how good are they in 4wd do they turn corners ok still ??

Front Diff Locked
Moderator: Tiny
If your front diff is welded you will only ever lock the front hubs in when you really need 4wd. On a dirt road it's hard to control at any sort of speed, it's doable but so much nicer just to put it back in 2wd.
On the black stuff, good luck turning!!! I forgot this one night and drove straight across a T intersection into the grass hehehe.

With a welded front diff, you have a couple of options when 4WDing.
a. When in 2WD, do NOT have your hubs locked
b. When in 4WD, on easy tracks, unlock one hub to retain your current steering abilities.
c. When in 4WD, on extreme tracks, lock both hubs to have awesome traction, but poor steering abilities.
