tube bender

Post by bru21 »

looking for a tube bender. i have a pipe bender, but want to make lightweight gear so i need a tube bender for up to (but mainly) 2 inch.

i saw one on a thread a while back for $300 odd for an ally manual (not hydro) one from a shop in maroubra powertools. does anyone know where else i could get one from. i cant get hold of this mob, do they still exist. i need the bender soon.

cheers

bru

For repeated, reliable work you're a little limited in Aus dude, you've got the speedwerx, which you can either buy yourself one, or hire from Big balls offroad. Of your other option is to import a popular model such as the pro tools 105 or the JD2 model 3 bender from the states [+$2000]
Megaman had good things to say about the bender from maroubra power tools, although i believe it was only suitable for exhaust thickness type tubing.... maybe shoot him a PM and ask away. Otherwise Liam from Big balls is always very helpful.
