new disco

new disco
Thinking of buying a new TD5 auto as a company vehicle. The fact that its the firms means i cant modify it for offroad use as much as i'd like. So in standard form including tyres, how would the disco cope with the likes of a Gembrook, High Country, Robe Toolangi trip? Its either a disco or a Patrol.
If the new disco still doesn't come with a factory centre diff lock, then not very well (they rely on the electronic traction control to make up for the lack of CDL).
A company Defender would be the best option.

The current Disco does come with the CDL. Even without they go surprisingly, but gimme CDL anyday.
I think both truck are great, the Disco and Patrols are just different sizes. My pref was the Disco and I think it is a better truck out of the box with more options and traction control. The Patrol I think is a better truck to modify into a monster with those huge wheel arches and big diffs.
Cant comment on Vic 4Wding though.
