The best one is going to be the cheapest one for what you want to do, just make sure they cover you for off-road etc.

If you've been watching 4x4TV on Channel 31, then they would recommend BUSHTRACK 4WD Insurance.....not sure of their website, but you can chaeck it out by going to http://www.4x4tv.com.au

www.dgainsurance.com.au they will insure any legal modification.

I've found them a lot cheaper than my last insurer too (I'm paying around $550 from memory)

Who's map do they go by?!

I've got the Country Fire Service Map Book for Mt Lofty Ranges that has every known track on it.... but if you went by the UBD or something like that.....

DGA simply specify as long as you're not doing anything illegal IIRC.

they said if i can show a published map with the track on it i would be covered. So long as it is not during the seasonal closure dates. So if anyone can buy the map off the shelf ya covered.

hmmm. So if it were winter and you damaged your car on a summer trak only you wouldn't be covered? Thats not a good thing as summer traks are only interesting in winter!

yes that is true but these guys seem better than most of the other insurance companies. Plus they are cheap. Most other places wouldnt insure my softop sierra with my accesories coz it doesnt have an alarm or immoboliser
