hey all thanks for all the advice and answering my q's :) about which GQ to buy,

in the end i decided for a 96 30th aniversary 2.9 lt turbo desisel with 170,000 on the clock and in pretty good nik!!

i'll post some pics tomorrow when pick her up :)

all i need now is some advie for mods mwahahah :)

snorkel will be first to add on and prolly a tow bar, want a good setup for camping if anyone has some suggestions on link please post em my way :)

2.9tr wat its had some engine work already




but any way sounds cool 4" springs 315's front n rear lokkers barred up /tranny gears / diff gears and she will be a awesome weekend warrior to outback tourer

I'm guessing its a 2.8, as for gears it will already have 4.6's (but if they want to swap I got some 4.1's)

yeah but i got my 4.6's off a guy who had one of these wen he put on his 35"s it suffered to much so he went 4.8"s

yeh sorry made a typo i meant 2.8lt :)
i was abit worries about getting a 2.8 becasue a few ppl said they were slugs, i drove a few 2.8's turbos and a few 4.2 n/a diesels and the 2.8 turbo had heaps more kick.

And since i wont be towing anything, maybe a smalle camping trailer.. so shouldnt really see much difference between the two.
