what would be a better conversion? 4.6 would be carby running gas.
Can most of the 3.5 stuff bolt onto the 4.6?

All the parts from yr 3.5 will bolt right up to a p76 and a 4.6 so the choce is yrs really..
all i know that with a 4.4 yr extractors hit the cassis and are a HUGE PITA to get on and off... the plates for the inlet manafold is also a PITA to install get right....
then you have to grind head on pass side to get alternator on right and then it throw the power steering pump out a little so wear on belts could become a problem later down the track....
heaps of other fings that were PITA but if you going to run carbbies then you shouldn't have these problems...
installing a 4.6 you will need a $13 plate for the cam to keep it from moving in and out...
also on some builds the crank can hit the oil pan so a little lovin with a hammer will fix...
apart from those few little PITA's all is good and fits right on
