roll bar
Hey I have a hard top feroza, but am looking to remove it and make a soft top. However I have noticed the roll bar at the back is welded to the body, if I take the roll bar off and make it a two seater will i have to inform my insurance company. Also is everyones similar in the fact their rollbar is is welded to their body.

Have you got some recent pics of the tonneau cover of however you have done the rear?
Nah...............it's a tonneau cover from a Falcon, held on with occy straps and the other end over the front seats.
It comes about half way up the "back window" and acts like a 'wind-jammer' and with the slope on it, stops the rain from getting in.
One day (when$$$permit), I'll take it to someone to make it up properly, but I wanna get a roll cage done first, so when the motorfitters make the new cover, they can make it go around the rollbar.

If they are only spot welded then get an angle grinder and grind them off! Lights shouldn't be too hard to do. I have a 93 feroza and the lights in there are just molds. They don't have the holes in them to put the bulbs in but if you get some early model ones from a wrecker they'll screw right in and all you have to do is re route the wiring.
Not brain science, just rocket surgery!

ADR's stipulate the the lights have to be visible from lots of angles, therefore, if you do this mod, you will need to either centre your spare wheel carrier or remove it completely.
The tail light assemblies can be purchased at most Feroza wreckers as they take them off them 'grey' imports to put the bumper lights on instead to meet ADR's.
Cost is about $70 ?? each light compared with >$150 for the bumper lights (that's why I've got them)
Just a simple matter of removing the blanks and getting them wired up.
(PS: I didn't do it.....Auto Elec did)
