can anyone tell me if there are any better than stock hilux motor mounts for a 4y (look same as diesel) available and how much/how much for stocko's

I found that the only mounts that would hold together were Genuine Toyota ones. dont buy any of those aftermarket neoprean ones they de-laminate in no time.

I am going to run suspension bushes as both engine and gearbox with my V8 conversion.

thanks ruff, have been told that about neoprene ones, will prolly go genuine, any ide on cost??

No i was lucky i bought a pair off a wreck that looked like they were fitted the day the hilux was writen off. I broke a few old ones and these new ones were in it for about 5months with no probs.

I think the biggest prob with the dual cases is that the stock gearbox mount cant handle the extra twist.

is this a similar idea to the rockstomper engine mounts?
hands and mums dont count!!!
