Hi guy just wanting to know if anyone out there knows if a gear driven transfer case will fit in my hilux its a '97 diesel mod former ifs and im wanting to know is there is any way of running crawler gears

Any help would be very helpfull

you have to change the hole gearbox and transfer it will bolt up easly i had to change to a mechanical speedo and redrill the front flange very easy to do

Will the donar box be as strong or stronger the the one i have

What diffrent ratios boxes(as in lower first etc) are avalable if a do change

i dont know for sure but everyone tells me that gear driven is stronger than chain and from memory low range in the gear driven is a bit taller than the chain

You can buy an adapter from Marks4wd to fit the gear driven transfer case to your gearbox. Gearmaster gears are 3.74:1 in low, ie. 64% reduction and rockhoppers are lower again 4.81:1
