F10 with coils

Post by nicbeer »

HE HE,

Mate's got a 77 F10 hardtop and has just converted the rear to 5 link setup, have not got the shocks or the correct springs as yet (thinking of prado springs). but has a shite load of flex.

All custom, not tested as yet but should be good, also has efi and supercharger bolted onto the original 12r toyota donk.

Just some info for ya.

Sounds interesting.... have you got any pics?

Wouldn't Prado springs be a bit too heavy duty? Prados weigh in at around 1900kg for the lightest model!

I know two blokes (over here in QLD) that have had this setup for about 5 years, both running Bundera diffs and links front and rear, and with import Surf 2.4 TD motors. Both fully complianced.
Built, not bought.

I remember a few years ago at the brisbnane 4WD show there was an f series ute there with coils. Think it was blue and was wearing 33's or 35's.
Looked awsome :D
