High idle on 1fz-fe engine on cold start up.. How do i fix it?

it should idle higher

I had thesame problem, even had a rattle from the chain. Had the injecters done,(took them out and had them done properly) and no more problems. Probably a bad spray patterns give more revs.

About 1800rpm.. And it rattles alright..

how cold?? starting ours up on cold mornings like zero degrees, its normlly about 1500 rpm for like 30 seconds, once u drive it it then comes down and idles at normal like 900 ish

Check out the tech pages of www.lcool.org for another fix, but i think you should look at the injecters first.

Will do.. It's done about 240k's so they'll need it..
